Holidays near Nazaré, inspiration and adventure
Near Nazaré, hot spot for extreme surfing, is Rural escape @ Friends, a small holiday Quinta of our friends. The Quinta is located between the hills full of orchards, in a small village with mini mercado and cafe. The accommodations at the Quinta share a small park with a playground, farmer’s golf, football field, animal meadow and large swimming pool.
This wooden chalet is located a little lower on a hill with a view of the swimming pool and the green surroundings. It has its own privacy and garden and you share a large communal swimming pool and another large terrace with BBQ.
The chalet is approximately 40m2 and consists of a living room with open kitchen and patio doors to the terrace, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom. It is luxurious and fully furnished with a dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, etc. The accommodation is for max 4 persons.
The interior of the house
The living room with open kitchen is cosily furnished in lavender tones. The wooden floors, walls and roof give a warm and cozy feeling. You open the doors to the terrace and live outside. The sofa in the living room can also be used as a sofa bed. The kitchen is luxuriously furnished with a dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, etc. You have your small bathroom and one bedroom has a double bed with a large built-in wardrobe. The other small bedroom has a bunk bed.
The private terrace and garden
You can sit outside on your spacious covered terrace with a small private garden in front of it. The view is over the pool and the valley. The Tiney house is a beautiful glamping experience. The luxury of a house with a complete outdoor living feeling!
Wifi and parking
The Chalet has its own parking space near the entrance on the higher grounds to safely park the (rental) car .
Internet access is free via the local WiFi network. Just surf to “Nazaré – big waves” and see for yourself.
There is also a TV with only Portuguese channels. For fun, take a look at one of the many Portuguese soaps or the extensive news. A real culture difference!
The Appropriate Holiday Period
A stay at this Quinta is suitable for wonderful holidays in the summer, spring and autumn, but also in winter. The chalets are fully insulated with double wooden walls and an electric heater for the cooler periods. You can stay privately, in nature, quietly with just the two of you or with the kids all year round. Be surprised by the climateand culture.
