Step by step, Quinta das Cantigas becomes the new name for Casa Cantiga. 15 years ago, we started with a “casa” and in time we grew into a small-scale, sustainable holiday park, a Quinta. We have 10 holiday accommodations here that blend in with nature , each with its own privacy .
The park is spaciously laid out in beautiful nature and covers some 10,000 m2. It is located a stone’s throw away from the beautiful coastline of the Silver Coast. You have a beautiful view of the Serra dos Candeeiros, a small mountain range towering above the hillside.
At Quinta das Cantigas you can relax in or by the heated swimming pools , on the terraces to chill out in the shade or to sunbathe. We also have a huge activity hall, a play forest, animals and a minigolf course! Or come and enjoy yourself in the Sauna!
So here you don’t just rent a cottage in the countryside, but fun for all ages. In the sun and also in less favorable weather conditions.
Kids’ fun, just the two of you, or escape wintertime at home
From April to October, our focus is on guests who enjoy privacy and the joy of kids playing. In winter, we also see many digital nomads enjoying nature, climate and facilities (and heating).

For the beach lovers we have a cool beach apartment . It is located directly on the seaside and 10 km above the famous seaside town of Nazaré with the “biggest waves in the world”. The beachfront apartment Solmar is located in an idyllic small coastal town with the beautiful name Praia Paredes da Vitoria.
It has a beautiful beach with several beach bars, a small boulevard and several good restaurants that are open all year round. In beach apartment Solmar you sit on your own large roof terrace and watch the sun sink into the sea. With a beautiful view of the coastline you can grill, chill and sunbathe in privacy and the sea whispers you to sleep. Attention: only available again from october 2024 and only for long stay

Our area has not yet been discovered by mass tourism, splended! It is still really Portuguese here, with a nice mix of culture and nature . Several places and buildings in the area have been nominated and some are even selected for the 7 Cultural Wonders of Portugal; The UNESCO protected town of Obidos , the pilgrimage town of Fatima , the Convento do Cristo in Tomar and the beautiful monasteries of Batalha and Alcobaça.
Our holiday accommodations at the Silver Coast are close to the beaches and the largest waves in the world can be found here at Nazare . At Peniche you have the world surfing championships . In addition to the big waves, we have fantastic inland lakes, bays with wonderful beautiful beaches . Spotting dolphins or visiting the Berlenga Islands is unforgettable.
In addition, it is a sporty environment with activities such as surfing , kite surfing , cycling and mountain biking and a lot of hiking, golf and football.

In the past 15 years we have already done a lot of “ sustainable activities” by using many solar panels, green electricity contracts, hot water solar boilers, driving electric cars and of course separating waste.
In 2019 we started to stimulate the compensation of your “CO2 emissions or carbon footprint” of your trip . For this, you can make a donation in your reservation to support local tree planting projects. We will double every donation ourselves and make sure it end up well at a local project.
